I also see UA pax voting CO and some vice versa, though a decent number (though not large enough) noticed that both have benefits.

I myself was quite nervous about 2-4-2 and really narrow seats on UA. I found the seat cushioning to be more comfy than CO and that when the seat was in bed mode, to not be missing width. Sure, the closeness to my seatmate was (is) annoying and the lack or storage space is infuriating. So they both have benefits. Unfortunately, too many people may feel entrenched, and a vote for the "enemy" will be portrayed as a "Kool Aid drinker" or "UA blinders."
