As some have pointed out, DL typically does not provide hotel for IROP due to WX. There are rumors that, as a PM or DM, you might get lucky. I have. My experience is that you will be more likely accommodated in DTW than ATL. Vestiges of the NWA focus on customer service, I suppose.

As a Diamond, I have almost always had agents issue hotel vouchers for weather IROPs. This has happened to me 3-4 times in DTW and twice in MSP. Is it no longer being done quietly for PMs and DMs?
As a PM, I have been issued a hotel voucher for a WX (ATC) delay, along with a $25 MC voucher for meals. This was in DTW. I, as well, thought this was standard practice.
