I would be peeved at myself for not showing up at SEA > 30 minutes before flight departure. I am more than willing to cut things tight myself (since SEA is home, I have my timings down pretty tight- no checked luggage and TSA Pre√), but if you're just showing up at the airport less than 30 minutes before departure, you have nobody to blame but yourself- one messed up checkpoint or what-have-you and you're missing a flight. SEA is pretty good compared to a lot of other places, but it's not BUR or LGB.

And yeah, SEA TSA Pre√ is closed by 8 pm. There have been times around then where the elite line for the Central Terminal TSA checkpoint is longer than the non-elite ones.
