But this does not show on BA, Quantas, or when I call AA. Are these just phantoms with the KVS tool?

Its Qantas (no 'u').
Search for each leg separately on BA or Qantas. I can see the IB flight on Qantas, but ExpertFlyer shows the availability is zero. KVS for Award/Oneworld just pulls data from Qantas.
I see the MAD-FCO flights on BA and Qantas.
