Target Field and the Metrodome are both in downtown Minneapolis, so similar distance from the airport. (Metrodome might be one or two train stops closer...I think Target Field is the end of the line...but it's the same general area and same train.) You might be thinking of the outdoor stadium that predated the Metrodome: it was across the highway from MSP where the Mall of America is now.

But that Tampa Bay Concrete-Dome is quite close to the St Pete airport used by Allegient, right?
It is, if you have a convenient Allegiant flight to grab. The rest of us would have to fly into TPA, rent a car, and cross the bay. I'm still amazed that team survives playing in that dump.

I think YTZ is going to win this one: very easy walk to/from a Jays game. LGA/Citi is probably a similar distance but I can't exactly envision what streets you'd use to walk or if walking is even possible. (I'm usually in a cab heading the other direction.) YTZ, on the other hand, would actually be a rather pleasant walk along a trail and a couple side streets over to the game. I go for a run down along there whenever I stay at the Renaissance...
