I was just trying to get anyone who's actually flown into ICN to let me know if it really is possible. 45 minutes seems like an awfully short time, (more like 30 minutes) as gates close ~15 minutes before departure.
So you have bought the ticket and Korean Air said that it is doable when you called, what will you do if we tell you that it is NOT doable?!

Let's just pray that the flight arrives on time and she sits closed to the entrance/exit door so that she can deplane in less than 15-minute. After that, let's hope that she can talk the transit desk to by pass everyone in line and get through the transit area in less than 15-minute. Then let's hope that the boarding gate is not too far from the transit desk so that she can get there in less than 15-minute.

The good news is that hotels around ICN are very cheap so that she can always stay overnight and fly out the next day if she doesn't make it on the original connecting flight.
