I always like to try and sample new wines on planes. Not a great test I know, and BA is disappointing in novel offerings (why on US routes could they not stock up on some great US wines - and no, I don't want orange oaky californian chardonnay, is beyond me). I have always been really pleased with QF wine in J and F - they must be spending far more money per bottle than BA is ex-Jancis.

However I do drink in the daytime but sleep overnight - And I think I must be a binge-drinker because I always remember a medical colleague telling me that it's only called binge drinking when you stop
