That said, I certainly won't say no at the offer of a chilled glass of the bubbly stuff pre-departure or a cheeky top-up either. Of course, it would be rude to turn down that glass of malbec with dinner. If cheese is selected, invariably so, then it must be accompanied by a glass of tawny port. Oh! mid flight on the 005 sake must be samplied. Its exactly these contradictions and complexities that adds such richness to life
