Hey all,
I've done quite a bit of research but can't figure this one out. Soon I'll have about 50,000 skymiles (mostly from using my amex), and 40,000 Chase ultimate rewards points. I'd like to somehow combine these, and use them towards a flight to New Delhi in November for a good friend's wedding. What is the best way to go about doing this? I've thought that using them together for Virgin Atlantic might be a good bet, but can I transfer them both there? How? Are there any better options?

There's no real convenient or effective way of doing this, as DL isn't a UR transfer partner. Furthermore, DL doesn't allow one-way awards and 50k isn't enough to get to India. The only way I could even imagine combining these is to transfer UR points to a hotel and then transferring from hotel program into DL. The problem you'll encounter is the horrific exchange rate from the hotel into DL pesos.
The only potential is if you have a decent number of Marriott points and could do the air+hotel awards (if you could make use of the hotel stay...)
