SYD wasn't a QS route in the beginning, it is SFO/LAX/LHR.

And if you read my above post listed which 777 is QS or not, you can see before the SFO crash, there were only 6 QS 2 class 777 (there is one more but irrelevant as it is 3 class), so it perfectly fit the 3 QS routes, nothing more nothing less.

If the seat is that important to you, you can always switch to UA, UA's SFO-ICN is being flown by 744, AVOD and horizontal flat C seat. There is SQ available for SFO-ICN as well.
