This happens to me all the time. To avoid complications, when I am booking my tickets through DL I just do not select a seat on the KL flights. Then after I have placed the order, I go to KL and pick my seat.
Please excuse me for bringing up an old post, but I have researched a lot of posts regarding booking the seats on Delta and KLM since my flights involve both of them and I am confused. I am 6'5 and must have Economy Comfort selected way before my flights in ensure a comfortable trip.
Our flight is ATL - AMS Delta ticket DL9375 (operated by KLM) and VCE - ATL Delta ticket DL193 (operated by Delta).
I want to select our seats on Delta and KLM when booking for next year now, can I do this by booking through Delta selecting our seats for the Delta portion and then use a KLM confirmation code to log onto the KLM site and select the KLM portion seats that way?
