Yes. The new thresholds come in after two years, or as soon as you fail to maintain Gold, whichever happens first.

This year should be your last attempt at 800TP. The change was introduced on 1 March 2012 and as your membership year ends in August, you get two final requalification attempts (August 2012, August 2013) at the old rate.
