YMMV, one agent may tell you a reprice is necessary while another agent might be able to keep all the segments you had previously and only change one that is now at Low mileage levels. Also, one complicating factor with your requested change is that you are trying to change the first segment. Changing the first segment often triggers a reprice of the whole itinerary.
