I am looking at booking a return club world ticket from NYC to LHR outbound July 21, inbound July 24. On ITA Software BA is showing at $6k. However, Finnair is showing as $4,724 for direct flights using Finnair flight numbers but the metal is BA ("operated by British Airways").

Will I get tier points if I book it as a 'Finnair' flight? I tried the tier points calculator on ba.com and it said zero but wondered if anyone had any actual experience of this? It seems a strange price differential that I'm sure won't last for long.
