Getting BAEC credit for original routing on AA booking that was re-routed by AA?

Hi All,

was wondering if anyone had any experience with this.

Short story, AA booking to maximise BAEC miles and tier points got re-routed. Original booking was SFO-MIA-NYC-LHR.

SFO - MIA was 3 hours delayed so they put me on SFO - ORD - LHR instead. That meant I got 200 Tier Points rather than 410. Given it was an AA booking, AA caused the re-routing but AA got me where I needed to be, what are my chances of getting the original routing credit on BAEC? And would I need to raise this with BAEC or AA?

Thanks in advance.
