Mrs. Wingrider and I were on a less than half full flight from BUR->SJC not long ago and were seated in the LUV seat. When the FA asked the exit row PAX for confirmation to assist if needed, one of the PAX declined and moved. There may have been a language issue because he was struggling to understand the FA. On takeoff there were 4 of us total in all of the exit seats.

I wonder what happens on a light flight and they wind up (dare I type it) few if any PAX in the exit rows to open the doors...
