Afternoon tea may be quaintly British, but how many British people/people living in Britain actually have afternoon tea these days?

It may be a cute thing for tourists but unless it's served in a pretty narrow window between lunch and dinner I don't really see it as a sensible option.

I suggest there are way more people watching their carb intake than routinely take afternoon tea these days, and for that alone it's not a sensible offering.
