In fact, J meal service was slow as he!l. I ordered the beef with express service but didn't get my meal until a good 45 minutes after the seatbelt sign was turned off. The flight itself was physically one of the smoothest in awhile. Zero turbulence. In fact, meal orders weren't taken until much after the seatbelt sign was turned off... what gives?
