When did you first let your kids fly as UMs?

Seriously debating letting the almost 5-yo fly UM when she finally becomes eligible. Would start with something simple -- SEA-LAX to visit nana, then work our way up to SEA-STL to visit the other set of grandparents. She's quite capable of entertaining herself on the plane, getting up to use the lav herself, ordering food/drink as needed. Just need to teach her how to make calls on the cell and use a credit card...

Maybe we should try a test-run where one of us drives to Portland and she does a short-hop SEA-PDX and we pick her up and drive home.
