What change are you referring to? With my wired stationary PC at home, I can either connect directly to the cable modem or instead to the router (in turn connected to the cable modem) without making any changes to the PC. The only problem is that my home router is big, old and on the fritz. (Sorry, PC capable but far from an expert.) Thx.
