UA's "investment" in newer aircraft weather larger or smaller means that UA will own more aircraft. UA has emormous Domestic and International growth potential in ORD, IAD, SFO, LAX and even IAH and EWR. UA has also committed to reducing the number of EMB145s in liu of larger RJs. Rest assured UA will fly some of those older aircraft (ie 767 300-400s and 757s) as long as they can to the right markets if needed. After all, those old birds are nowhere near DL od AA's 40 year old DC9s and MD80's.
