Luggage check through query (with slightly long layover)
Per oneworld website:
If you are travelling on connecting oneworld flights, your luggage will be checked through to your final destination at the time of check-in.*
If the time between connecting oneworld flights is more than 12 hours, you may need to collect your luggage on arrival and check-in again with the outbound carrier.
My itinerary as follows:
7 July BA 757 BGO1145 LHR1240 (Booking A)
7 July BA 017 LHR1340 ICN 0835+1 (Booking A)
8 July CX 419 ICN2005 HKG2245 (Booking B)
As you can see, first two segments on BA are on one booking and the third is on CX on a different booking. Given I am just within the 12 hour layover, will BGO tag my bags all the way to HKG? This saves me the hassle of storing my luggage at ICN...
Thanks!
