For this trip, we decided to check out a brand new boutique hotel, which is currently having a soft-opening. Not all facilities and rooms are ready yet, but I guess once everything is up and running, prices will go up too! The hotel is Mode Sathorn by Siam@Siam. A very convenient location just beside Surasak BTS station. Prices are very affordable and being new, not many guests as well.

We were not allocated the biggest rooms but our room has a very comfortable bed and obscenely huge bathroom! Only in Bangkok would you be able to get such nice rooms at low prices. Felt a bit like W hotel but without the W-prices.












Of course, some prayers made at the prominent worship places.






Made a "coffin" donation at the Hua Lamphong temple, where the money would be used to assist the under-privileged.




Of course, checking out the shopping centers. Visited the newly-renovated Siam Center which has now a rather cool-looking design!
