Prepayments and multiple account payments are often limited by credit card issuers. The risk they see with prepayments and multiple account payments is not credit risk but laundry risk.

Am Ex gave me a very low credit limit on my newest card and I sent in a large prepayment so I could be assured some large purchases would go through to meet the minimum spend, so right now there is NO RISK at all seeing I have a credit balance
