Yes, the bus runs right next to the planes on the tarmac, and you get on it without going through security. A gaping hole in the security plan. That said, I'm not sure that somebody with 2 brain cells couldn't figure out how to sneak onto the tarmac of just about any civilian airport in the world.
Even if there is no premium seating, the E90 is very comfortable even in Y. Wide seats with a lot of pitch.

The short story: The OP couldn't get the help he needed on the phone, and was sure the flight would be a disaster. Once he got to the agent at the airport, everything was handled to his satisfaction and he loved the flight.
