Some folk are never happy.

The planning has been meticulous. Designed at every stage to protect the customer and the brand reputation.

Re the A380 - with 1 hull, why would BA publicise it and sell it to its capacity on a FRA, only for the 1 aircraft to suffer a tech problem? People would be really disappointed alied to the fact that dispersal options would be difficult, at best. EU Comp when people cannot get rebooked onto the next flight. The announcement of LAX and HKG now starting earlier is due to the fact that LEA has now been delivered and there is sufficient time between now and September to train everyone and confidence that LEB is on track.

Re the 787 - come ARN start up, BA should have BJA, BJB and BJC. Assuming there is not another worldwide grounding, i would expect them to publish the 787 SH flying come August time. They should be confident enough to fly 1 daily round trip with 3 hulls.

Time for people to take a step back and realise the size of these projects.
