Thanks, I understand now that I can not request this over the phone, but need to fill out a form. I usually find the discrepancies with non refundable prepaid rates, and the discrepancies stay up for a day or two. While I know that I can wait until the claim is approved before making a booking, I do not think that this strategy would work as in all likelihood rates would change during the evaluation period. The other strategy of booking and hoping also would like not be to my benefit, because if rates do change during the evaluation period, I would get stuck with a higher spg rate, and no 2000 spg point bonus.

I believe however that one night stays in Tuesdays , Thursdays and Saturdays would not be considered consecutive, and would each qualify for the 2000 point gift if brg claims were approved.


Probably back to the drawing board, unless someone has a brilliant idea for me.
May also be stuck at gold for a while, and that is pretty good too.
