No. You can only collect the Tier Points for your own flight. You cannot collect Tier Points when anyone else flies, even if you bought and paid for the ticket, and even if you are travelling on the same flights as them.

You can, of course, have your sister open her own account [if she doesn't have one already], and she can save the Avios/Tier Points for her flights into her own account.

Avios do not reset. At the end of your Membership Year, your Tier Point balance will be cleared to zero.

If you are so close to reaching Bronze, and if you consider that having Bronze next year will be of benefit to you (check carefully -for infrequent flyers it's not really justifiable to make the extra "push" to have perks that you will rarely use - not that there are many perks with Bronze. If, however, you are talking about reaching Silver, or Gold, then this is something worth considering), have you considered taking an extra flight(s) or a weekend away before your membership year ends, if doing so would give you the necessary Tier Points?
