I've done it both ways, via LHR on BA and HKG on CX. No matter how it's a long connection at either airport (and then again at JNB to take BA/SA to CPT if not on the BA nonstop). Very nice in F on either carrier, though the old Concorde lounge was a bit below the First Class sections of The Pier and The Wing.
