I was informed by my work to try the new Virgin Little red service to fly between EDI-LHR, probably due to cost. I'm trying this service for the first time tomorrow.
I noticed that the Boarding Pass on the iPhone looks remarkably similar; there are minor differences and the seat number is the same size as the smallest writing on the BA boarding pass (eeek).

I did notice however; that the British Airways mobile check in was much easier - with the Virgin mobile check in; it looked for more information and then had to get the boarding pass emailed to my iphone
The BA app wins hands down as far as I'm concerned. The gimmick of the Virgin Atlantic app is that is shows the position of each plane on a globe map. The virgin app feels like it's been added together as a rush job.
I'll see how my flight goes tomorrow; but at least I'm in the front row
