A question for the experienced United travellers here:
We'll be arriving on a TGV train scheduled to arrive into the T2 TGV station at 7:59 and one of our group needs to catch UA57 to EWR which departs at 9:25.
I have no experience with UA at CDG. According to
their policies the bag drop/check-in deadline is 60 minutes prior to departure, which should be doable. I usually need about 15-17 minutes to go from T2 TGV to T1 check-in via CDGVAL.
How strict are they about enforcing the 60-minute deadline in case there's delays? I don't know if the person flying will have accès no.1 as well (don't think so, though).
We'll also do OLCI and could even skip checking bag(s) in case things get too tight.
Problem is that is the first train of the day and getting there earlier is just not really an option...
