Hi all,

I have a reservation for one-way, SFO Sept 18 to LAS Sept 29 reservation in a convertible.

I have decided I would rather switch to a SUV when stoping by LA on Sept 23rd for the second part of my trip which includes lots of desert driving.

Only problem is, since there are no more convertibles available at SFO on Sept 18, Avis won't let me change the drop off date (it simply announces convertible as sold-out).

What happens if I just show up in LA (LAX or other location?) on Sept 23rd to drop off the car? What will they charge me?

Right now my rate is about $850 which includes a one-way fee.
