Chase did not follow through with their rapid rewards card
I recently signed up for a rapid rewards chase credit card with Southwest a few weeks ago. When I signed up I was currently booking tickets and it had an offer of 50,000 points for the first $2,000 spent within the first 3 months. That is the only reason I signed up for the card was to receive the benefit of the reward points. However, I just received the card to day and when I called to activate it I was told a different story. They tell me that its an offer of 10,000 points after the first $500 spend. Now the person I spoke with on the phone was very friendly but I was told I need to wait 7 to 10 business days for the marketing department to contact me. I truly find this unacceptable for Southwest to be running a bait and switch scam with their customers. Has anyone else had an issue like this?
