Not literally a contradiction, as no where does it state that a ow Emerald is ineligible to access the Admirals Clubs.

Be aware that, even on a domestic (U.S.) economy flight, you (as a non-AA ow Emerald) may access not only the Admirals Clubs, but also the Flagship Lounges, in JFK, ORD and LAX.
