I can see a drop in revenue coming from Elites.
Not just the drop in MRs, (which are now pretty useless to anyone except the pax who take the "1-or-2-a-year OPM Asia trips, etc" that really bump up PQDs )
I think that many like myself who are now effectively limited to Plat will consider Kayaking a whole lot more.

I'm a MM Gold. I don't have to fuss just to get to Plat, the edge just isn't that great.

I can continue to spend $50-100 more than the cheapest tickets around to avail myself of the benefits of Elite, but without the requal incentive, I will not be passing up those VX specials, I'll use award tickets much more often, etc

And if I really miss being being TopTier, there are other OOptions AAround
