JNB is a "special case" due to being a hot and high ULH. It's not apples to apples.
Perhaps, but the same does not also apply to ATL-DXB, which is often weight restricted as well. Though I believe it's typically on the return, e.g. DXB-ATL.

Point being, these ULH flights are already seemingly at the edge of what DL can operate reliably with the -200LR, and the Central/Eastern/Southern hubs of DL are likely too far to make a go at this. LAX-SIN makes the most sense if DL were to try something.
