There are certainly a few other outlying properties under various Hilton flags that are in the same orphaned situation. Thinking of the Trafalgar in London, the Hotel Maya in Long Beach, couple others...
I like the Wit a lot and wish more DT's would adapt to that style of a hotel

I didn't know the traffalger was considered a "hip" or trendy type hotel. I like the hotel a lot but it reminds me of a traditional hilton. Outside of the roof top bar nothing (which the Fashion district hiton also has) and no Hilton sign on the buildiong, nothing really stands out to me as far as it being unusual.

I stayed at the Andaz in West Hollywood last year and really liked it and would like to see Hilton have a brand like that.
