Agree with the EWR flight being 75-100% full. Having flown SQ EWR-SIN I agree the non stop makes a big difference esp. with respect to SQ arriving SIN early morning. What I have trouble with is DL getting more than a small % of full fare business class pax from SQ. Nothing a US carrier flies comes close to SQ seating, food and service. At any time over the 18 hour flight, I only had to look up or ring the call button and wait an average of 7 seconds for someone to come over, bow and ask what I needed.
NEVER happen on DL.
