you can play around with multiple 23 hour layovers online, but chances are it will error out. You can do as many 23 hour layovers as you like at any airport. You need to write down the exact flights you want, and spoonfeed them one by one to the phone agent, it will most likely price out properly, or if it doesnt they will make up some excuse, you can ask for manual pricing or try again.
I am going this month from PUJ to CTS with 22:00-24:00 layovers in PTY, YYZ and WAW. One layover is now actually almost 25 hours due to schedule change.
And yes calling it the "23 hour layover trick" is as dumb as "free one-way".... and its not 23 hours, it can be 24 hours on the dot
