23-hour layover trick
You can use the multi-destination option to build your itinerary online, but I believe it'll let you do only one 23-hour layover each way. You may need to call reservations to book multiple layovers. I've heard of people hopping around Europe via multiple carriers like US-FRA-ZRH-VIE-US or US-LIS-FRA-VIE-BRU-US.
