Totally agree with all of this. Before I had silver or gold, I did pay $55 to go in once while waiting for an international flight. I got in just when they were removing all the lunch food so totally not worth it for the paltry offerings they have after lunch. I made sure I polished off a few wines though to make up for it. I do like the lounge for the sense of peace and quiet away from the hubbub of the airport. Food at Zarbo is good though.

Wouldnt it be awesome though if you could buy your way into the emirates lounge for just $55!
