Another datapoint: I signed up for the non-business premier and was immediately approved. Right away I then signed up for the non-business plus and was given the pending notice. Called the reconsideration line the next day, after answering a few questions and getting put on hold for a few minutes, was told that I can be approved if I moved some of my existing credit to the card. I agreed and was approved.
December, 2011 - Applied and approved for Chase SW personal and business Visa
July, 2012 - Cancelled both
June 20, 2013 - Applied for Chase SW personal Visa, Citi AA Visa and AMX MR business, approved for all
June 22, 2013 - Applied for Chase SW Business. Application pending, then automated 7-10 wait then written decline.
June 29, 2013 - Called reconsideration and approved after about 40 questions and willingness to move some credit around. Had one other Chase (BA) card throughout this.
