It is taking FOREVER for me to get this card and I don't know why... All the other card I have applied for in the past years (Amex(Aeroplat, Plat, gold), Capital One (Aspire), MBNA( Best Western, Platinum) and Chase Marriott) have always been approved instantly and card within a week.

CIBC process: Apply online, wait, get a form in the mail that I have to sign and fax back (never had to do that before), wait, get an email with a reference number saying 7-10 days, wait, get another email asking them to call them, I call them, tell them my employment status (which is the same I provided when I applied online) and am now waiting some more. Been about 3 weeks since I applied.

Don't really plan to use it that much but this is ridiculous. All my dealings with this bank have always been long and tedious... Just tell me one way or another if I am approved or not, couldn't really care less, just stop wasting my time...
