Assuming it's not too late....

When you arrive at Heathrow, check the connections signs straight away. If your plane parks at one of the mid-field terminals, there's every chance you may be connecting from there as well. Following the main 'flight connections' signs will send you all the way to the main terminal so do pause to look at the screens once off the plane.
