I will hit GGL this year based on hitting 3000+ TP's for a second year. I may possibly hit 4500 TP's but I'm not sure yet. Year ends in March so its quite a way off.

My wife has already got her TP's to renew her own Gold card in October. So she is covered till October 2014 as a GCH. However she won't get enough TP's next year to keep her Gold from October 2014.

So that's the context, now the question.... if I qualify for a Partner Gold card in say February 2014, do I have to assign it immediately? Or do I get some sort of voucher which would allow me to assign it later in the year? i.e. In October 2014 when my wife would drop to Silver?

It's not a big issue really as I could just assign it to one of the kids but I'm curious.
