Okay, next question:

BA213 is scheduled to arrive in BOS at 13:20. I would like to take AA1851 to JFK which departs at 14:40. Is there enough time to make the connection? I believe the MCT is 1:30 for international-domestic. If I miss this flight, will AA put me on AA1831 which departs at 18:30, or will they make me buy a new ticket if the connection is illegal? I really don't want to buy the 18:30 ticket and have to sit there for 4 hours or so.

I grew up near Boston so heading into the city to kill some time isn't particularly appealing to me in this case. I just want to get to NYC as fast as possible.
