Rimowa out-of-warranty servicing experiences
I have a 26" Topas that is a few years old; I don't know the exact age, but it's certainly outside the five-year period.
Does anybody have experience of getting such a case serviced? And the costs involved? The case is still basically fine, but one of the wheels rubs a bit against the recess; it's still very mobile, but could be a bit smoother. Also, the top side closure is slightly misaligned, and I think the rubber seal could perhaps do with being replaced. I might also replace a couple of the wheels.
I don't care about the various scratches and dents currently adding character, which do not affect the case's functionality, but I would like to address the above issues if it's possible and financially viable.
I'm in London, and am unfamiliar with Rimowa repairers here. I could conceivably go to Germany to get the work done, since I'm likely to be there at some point anyway.
