I recently flew JFK-LHR in 28J.
It was a fabulous seat. Unlimited leg room due to the exit row, the extra table space to your right hand side is fab and there is almost no foot traffic because it is at the front of the cabin. No problems with the seat width. Only issue is that you'd have to lean forward to get a good view out of the window.
Even for a red eye flight, I managed to sleep quite comfortably.
