Yes, I will certainly be PO'd to give up 21A and end up in a middle seat in the back....and by the time I get on there will be no place for my bag and will have to check it and put my laptop bag at my feet
If you're unfortunately stuck in the back, you can still board with group 1 as a 1k. Unless of course you're trying to minimize your time on the plane
