If you're on the KLM Cityhopper flight it's an E190 and KLM operates a 737. My guess is that there will be a change fee, as others have suggested as well as deltaassist. So you'll have to decide for yourself if the fee is worth it, on top of the hassle of getting all the details squared away, for a ~1:40 flight. The only benefits I can think of are that you would get SP (but if any of your other flights have SP on that same day/trip it might end up carrying over anyway), you may get some extra miles (just a shot in the dark, and not sure how well the KL miles play with DL), and you might even get some sort of food. Also FWIW, the 737 would have the blocked middle seat, but it looks like the E190 would not.
It's an award ticket so no miles will be earned on any segment regardless of the class of service.

Depending on time of day, there will be a snack or meal in KLM's Eurobusiness class, including wine/beer.

Depending on the rest of the OP's itinerary and schedule, being in business class for this segment could matter for getting elite check in and lounge access in NCE. The (contract) lounge there is small but does have champagne upon demand. (There's a sign in French saying that you must ask the dragon.) However, the gate area isn't bad except that there are more people than seats in the gate area. IIRC there was no elite security line at NCE but I haven't had to wait long there either.
